The Harcourt Arms is a charming, 17th Century village pub that holds 2 AA Rosettes and 5AA Gold Stars.
Serving some seriously tasty pub classics alongside top notch seasonal specials it uses ingredients sourced from the finest local farmers and quality producers on its doorstep.
Following an extensive four-year-long renovation it’s now home to a brand new restaurant, ten lovely bedrooms and The Harcourt Stores where you’ll find artisanal treats amongst the everyday essentials.
Set at the heart of Stanton Harcourt’s community, with an award-winning team, The Harcourt Arms is run by Alan Gleeson and Olivier Bonte who are dedicated to creating the ultimate village pub experience.
Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday, the menu offers hearty pub classics alongside seasonal dishes to be enjoyed with well maintained ales and interesting selection of wines from local breweries and merchants.
Perfectly appointed, comfy and quirky with patterned carpets, bold handmade headboards and custom textured pillows, all 10 bedrooms and bathrooms are unique and furnished with chic country style, antiques, eclectic artwork and have been awarded 5 AA Gold Stars.
Think leather bound books, wing back armchairs and floor standing reading lamps, just perfect for curling up in a cosy corner. The individually designed bathrooms complement each room perfectly and boast locally sourced Branche d’Olive bath and body products.
All rooms have a smart flat screen TV, Nespresso machine, complimentary bottled still and sparkling water, free wifi and free parking (subject to availability).
Check- in is from 3pm and check-out at 11am.
Dogs are welcome in the pub.
A traditional country inn is only complete when it exists hand in hand with its local community, hence the introduction of The Harcourt Stores, offering healthy, everyday essentials alongside luxury, artisan produce, from a takeaway coffee to pastries, sandwiches and salads.
