Whilst The Story Museum’s exhibitions are closed for its exciting major redevelopment and upcoming opening, instead it has Baby People, the UK’s first dedicated hip hop school, running classes, workshops and teaching this week.

Explore The Jungle Book through hip hop, breakdance and graffiti daily with the dance group, founded by producer Baby J, whose previous collaborations include Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson and the Wu-Tang Clan.

“Baby People are extremely excited to be bringing our music producers, breakdancers and graffiti artists to Oxford working alongside the nationally respected Story Museum,” they said.

“We know that the art forms that we live and breathe are an excellent way of telling stories, communicating and breaking down social and economic barriers.”

UK Breakdance champions The Trinity Warriors will also be delivering a special session inspired by the characters of The Jungle Book on Thursday August 8 from 10am-4pm for 8-12 year-olds.
