The Oxfordshire Yeoman in Freeland, near Witney, aims to deliver both food and entertainment this lockdown by bringing the pub experience to you every Friday night.
The pub quiz feast consists of chicken wings, strips and dippers, chunky chips, homemade sweetcorn salsa and coleslaw, dips and freshly baked homemade brownie bites
First up this Friday is a good old pub quiz – online of course – with a fried chicken feast delivered to your door, or collected from the Freeland pub, recently taken over by new landlords Paul Hughes and Anna Munday.
Next week you can enjoy pub grub paired with a beer tasting in partnership with Little Ox Brewery just up the road, followed by Live Bingo with the previous landlord Trevor and another delicious menu, the following Friday.
A gin tasting menu, wine pairing menu and other ideas using local suppliers are also in the pipeline.

“We did our standard takeaways during the November lockdown and whilst they worked well, we wanted to do something a little different,” landlady Anna Munday says.
“Lots of people are looking for things to do and want to feel part of something during this lockdown. They can’t have the experience of visiting The Yeoman so we wanted to bring that to them at home.
“We’ve got a plan for each Friday during January and are concocting some fun ideas for February at the moment. We’ll be announcing full details in the next few days but decided to start with a good old pub quiz.”

Prices: £24.50 for a couple, £42.50 for a family of four (two adults, two smaller people), £12.50 for an extra adult, Quiz – £4 per household.

The quiz is £4 per household with £2 going towards a cash jackpot, £2 going toward Freeland Primary School.
