Saturday at Truck was the setting for a huge homecoming for local heroes Foals who brought their arena worthy show to the tiny main stage in great style.

Old favourites, alongside songs from their latest album, ‘Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost, Part 1’, delighted the adoring home crowd, with the entire set accompanied by a major crowd singalong. This certainly felt like the main event of the weekend.

The legend that is Johnny Marr graced the main stage before Foals, and brought the perfect mix of his excellent new solo work and of course some Smiths’ classics that delighted the crowd.

There were people on shoulders everywhere for ‘This Charming Man’ and not a single person didn’t know the chorus for set closer ‘There Is A Light That Never Goes Out’.

His newer material was also greeted with huge enthusiasm, with new track ‘Easy Money’ also being sung passionately by the crowd.

Don Broco brought heavier material to the main stage, and their crowd of passionate fans created many circle pits for the pop rock.

MyNuLeng and Turno closed the night in the packed Market stage, as the centrepiece day at Truck came to an end.
