After developing a cult following across the UK, the dessert brand MyCookieDough will be opening a new store at Westgate Oxford and adding some extra flavour to the shopping centre on Monday.

The popular baked cookie dough company has been causing a frenzy across the UK with its cookie-centric snacks – great news for those with a sweet-tooth.

For the uninitiated, the menu plays host to freshly-baked cookie dough delights such as the Red Velvet, Kinder & Nutella cookie dough, as well as the Instagram-famous stacks that come in flavours including Banoffee Pie and the Sl***y Brownie. Prepare to take a trip to foodie heaven!

The opening of MyCookieDough Westgate Oxford will be the brand’s 11th store, adding to a portfolio including London, Manchester, Leeds, Cardiff and Birmingham.

MyCookieDough is the brainchild of co-founders Angie Gewargis and Ricki Ghali, after they saw a gap in the market for freshly baked cookie dough shops. They were keen for their customers to enjoy cookie dough that is half-baked with a crisp outer crust, and gooey texture through the middle. Paired with vanilla ice-cream, the range of desserts are served fresh out the oven.

Angie Gewargis, the passionate founder of the company (playfully known as the Dough Queen) says: “Oxford is one of our favourite places to visit in the UK. Our wish to have a store there has finally come true, and we are over the moon to be opening at Westgate. We will be hosting a big launch event on the 21st October to treat our fans with some free cookie dough. Keep an eye on our Instagram for more information.”
