Kingham PloughAvi Shashidhara, Head Chef of London’s celebrated Indian restaurant, Pahli Hill, is hosting an exclusive supper club in the pub on Thursday February 23. Avi has designed a menu showcasing Pahli Hill such as a Mangalore bun & scottish crab sukkha with fennel seeds, crushed chilli & ginger or a homestyle fish curry with halibut, mussels, tamarind and curry leaves. The Oxford Junior Chef of The Year competition has been announced by the City of Oxford Guild Of Chefs. The winners will feature at the City Of Oxford Guild of Chefs Dinner on April 15 at Keble College and then be awarded the grand prize on the evening itself. Entry deadline is Friday March 10. Pit Kitchen Cotswolds in Chipping Norton is back with more fantastic street food and a new indoor location in The Shoot Room on the Cornwell Estate with the first dates being held on February 22 & 23 and lots more to follow.
