Plus, the rescheduled Moving With The Times is rescheduled at Pegasus Theatre at the same time, featuring another three exciting dance companies offering explosive, moving and thought provoking new work.

These include Jasmine Chui’s Willow is a dramatised autobiography of a daughter trying to understand her mother’s eccentric behaviour, Kate Taylor‘s contemporary dance solo Just a Minute about women’s mental health, and Tom N Rob: Together Alone a short film, shot on the first day Tom N Rob danced in person together since the start of the pandemic.

“I am so thrilled that we can finally present the work of these three fantastic artists this summer. Each has risen to the challenges of this last year and produced exciting new dance. This year is also a special year for us as we celebrate 10 years of Moving With The Times, and we look forward to marking it in July, Claire Thompson – Oxford City Council’s Arts Development Officer and founder of Dancin’ Oxford said.

“This year’s stunning Moving With The Times line-up will celebrate the 10th anniversary of this annual show which is always the highlight of Dancin’ Oxford’s Spring Festival, cancelled this year due to the pandemic.

We’ve had many Festival highlights over the years but I can’t think of any that we are looking forward to more than being able to perform in public again,”

“We have met the challenge of lockdown by moving our activities online, but it can’t compare to being part of a shared experience, so we are really looking forward to welcoming everyone back on 3 July,” she adds.

Although unticketed, audiences will be directed to see the performances in a socially distanced manner with marshals on hand to ensure it is adhered to.
