Oxford’s little people are loving Crumple’s Christmas Adventure and its magical storytelling at the BT Studio over the festive season.
The perfect introduction to theatre for those aged 3–8, Crumple’s Christmas Adventure sees a discarded Crumple reinventing himself into a wrapping paper figure and setting off on a quest to find the forest where he belongs.
With the audience’s help, he discovers snow and trees and makes new friends along the way.
Changing form and having fun, Crumple becomes a star in his home and the world at large!
Featuring live music and brilliant puppets, the Oxford Playhouse production runs in the Burton Taylor Studio until Saturday 31 December.
Written by composer, musical director, and performer Tarek Merchant and directed by Filskit Theatre Company’s Katy Costigan, it stars actor and musician Charlotte Grayson and improviser and actor Peter Pearson.
