There were over 350 entries in the REDISCOVER OXFORD Photography Competition and now the winners can be admired in The Covered Market and in bus stops all across Oxford.

You can see the four winning images in the windows of 119-120 Fourth Avenue, The Covered Market throughout August and it doesn’t stop there.

Winner Eloise Keane

The 37 runners up from all four categories, are also being shown city wide in bus stops, after the exhibition was hung by Oxford’s Fusion Arts.

Independent Oxford and Oxford City Council asked entrants to capture how you enjoy the beautiful city of Oxford and to demonstrate that, despite restrictions, it is a thriving place to live, work and visit.

The four winners and 37 runners up have now been selected by a panel of Oxford based judges.

These includes Nick Cope and Hoyles of Oxford for the 12 and Under category, Yellow Submarine Café and Lizzy McBain, CEO of Ark-T for 13-17s and Esther Lafferty, Executive Director of Oxfordshire Artweeks and Sanders of Oxford for the 18+ main category.

Lucie Johnson

The winners are Rebecca Pomroy (18+), Eloise (13-17), Enfys Horner (12 and Under) and @letsbackupandgo on Instagram who won some stunning prizes donated by the city’s businesses and traders.

Councillor Susan Brown, Leader of Oxford City Council said: The wonderful images that were captured and submitted certainly help to showcase the beauty and diversity of Oxford. We know how special our city is, but the superb pictures have revealed some hidden gems.
