BBC Countryfile Live at Blenheim Palace opens today with the chance to see your favourite presenters live on The Main Stage.

Take a seat on a comfy hay bale and get up-close-and-personal with your favourite Countryfile presenters. Anita, Matt, Ellie, John, Adam, Tom and Charlotte will all be taking to the stage to recall stories and share fascinating facts about one of the BBC’s best-loved TV series – and interviewing each other.

The National Trust will be focusing on how best to look after nature and the countryside and how the countryside can look after us.

Hear from, among others, TV bushman Ray Mears, wildlife presenters Simon King, Ferne Corrigan, Lizzie Daly, Patrick Aryee and TV gardener Carol Klein plus some of the presenting team from Countryfile.

Food lovers can join a host of chefs and culinary experts as they expand your food horizons. Join Brian Turner and his celebrity chef and food writer friends for a mouth-watering display of tasty summer meals and treats. You’ll go home with a head full of new recipes to explore and ingredients to taste, giving you the confidence to try something new.

Stop by the Quilter Cheviot Theatre to hear speakers, panellists and topics hosted by Countryfile presenter, Joe Crowley, and then walk over to The Wildlife Trust’s, Wildlife Zone.

This is an area where you can discover how you can help and protect wildlife. Find out how you can help create a Wilder Future for everyone. Peer into a working beehive and discover how important bees are for the food we eat. Learn all about wildlife gardening and how you can turn your garden into a haven for birds, bees and butterflies.

There is also a whole host of fun laid on for families, throughout the site, and numerous rural stands and exhibitors to catch the eye and tempt the adventurer.

At the garden stage visitors will be able to hear from wildlife organisations like the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, Plantlife, Buglife, and many more to find out all about amphibians, bugs and other creepy crawlies.

Countryfile Live at Blenheim Palace from August 1-4.
