Excessive Human Condition

Once again Dancin’ Oxford and Pegasus Theatre have got together to bring you three new stunning dance works.

And Oxford audiences will get a FIRST LOOK on Friday 21 January and give the artists direct feedback. They really want to know what you think of their commissioned dance pieces to help them progress!

Phoebe Tompsett Dance

This means you can watch THE DAILY MALE by Tompsett Dance in its early stages as it combines contemporary dance and physical theatre to cast a stark light on women’s safety.

Excessive Human Collective will be there, using highly physical movement, text and video in POST TRUTH WHATEVER, a darkly humorous and relevant show which explores political double-speak and looks at how digital tools are used to spread information.

You can also look forward to SHOW ME as contemporary dancer Daisy Howell uses digital projections and electronic sounds to depict solo female performers inspired by clubs and bass.

Night People by Howl Creative

The final pieces will then be presented in MOVING WITH THE TIMES on 4-5 March at Pegasus theatre as part of the epic Dancin’ Oxford Festival 2022 on March 4-14!!

So get involved at this early stage, help sculpt the work you want to see and pay what you want on the night.
